Raeon secures Phase 2 Grant and Booster Fund

Raeon is proud to announce the successful completion of Phase 1 of the Advanced Propulsion Centre UK’s (APC) Technology Developer Accelerator Programme (TDAP) and the award of a £100,000 Phase 2 grant alongside an additional £75,000 booster fund. This funding will accelerate Raeon’s mission to make tailored battery technology more accessible and affordable across industries like marine, motorsport, defence, and other specialised applications.

Raeon’s success in Phase 1 focused on validating its market strategy and refining its flexible, low-tooling battery design process which is a core strength of Raeon’s approach. By using scalable manufacturing techniques and innovative cell joining technology, Raeon can create batteries in any shape or size with minimal customisation costs.

Progression to Phase 2 reflects the APC’s confidence in Raeon’s innovation and market potential. Phase 2, running from February to November 2025, will focus on technology validation. Raeon plans to develop and test prototypes, enhance product performance, and strengthen its market position with the support of expert industry mentors.

The additional booster fund will enable Raeon to expand its R&D capacity, increase production efficiency, and fast-track commercialisation of its innovative battery solutions. This marks a significant milestone in Raeon’s commitment to driving the future of battery technology and supporting the transition to zero-emission mobility.

A big thank you to the APC for recognising Raeon’s innovation and supporting its growth. This achievement aligns with Raeon’s mission to drive the future of e-mobility with expertly tailored battery solutions.
