Custom batteries are too expensive for many vehicle manufacturers. From motorbikes to drones, boats to robotics and everything in between, we build batteries differently to enable affordable optimisation.

What we’re looking for 

 

We’re seeking enthusiastic and talented engineering students to join us at this exciting time as we expand our engineering team to further develop our innovative battery technology and manufacturing processes.This role will include the following activities:

 

• Battery and electrical design (theoretical and computer aided)

• Wiring diagrams and EDS

• Selection of components for EDS systems

• Ownership of electrical components and systems

• Design of BMS, PDU and CMU systems using off the shelf and designed solutions

• Battery performance simulations

• Battery End of Line testing and Certificate of Conformance sign off

• Manufacturing processes and quality control

• Hands-on battery build for R&D and production

• Customer and supplier engagement and support

• Business processes and engineering best practices

Expectations

 

• A relevant degree (electrical, electronics or similar) or equivalent qualification

• Demonstrated, relevant work experience with HV systems, battery systems or similar

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Confident, hands on approach and workshop skills

• Proficiency in a CAD system

• A keen interest in batteries and electrical systems

• Conscientious and motivated approach to tasks

• Positive attitude and flexible approach toward problem solving and continuous improvement

• Dependable and respectful attitude
